Phonics screening check meeting

Children in Year 1 throughout the country will be taking part in a phonics screening check during the week commencing the 10th of June. Children in Year 2 will also take the check if they did not achieve the required standard when they were in Year 1, or if they haven't taken the test before.
On
Tuesday 14th May, we will be holding a meeting at school to discuss the phonics screening check with parents. We will provide information on what the check includes, and also how you can support your child at home. The meeting will be in Class One at 3.30pm so straight after school.
We hope to see as many of you as possible there. For any parents who are unable to attend, we can send information out afterwards.
