FoNSS - North Stainley Primary School's Fundraising Group
Friends of North Stainley School (FoNSS) is a voluntary fundraising group which welcomes both parents and villagers to organise events.
For a small school, FONSS raises a huge amount of money, almost 300% that which is raised by comparable schools, which is a testament to the hard work of the committee and the wider community.
In 2014-15, FONSS helped the school to purchase IPADs; paid for coaches to take children on excursions; enabled the school to invite visitors for historical days; bought equipment such as ICT Visulizer, water tray, keyboard and games for Stay and Play. This continued into 2019-17 buying us musical equipment as well as the lessons to go with it, paid for coaches to enable us to join in with events and contributed towards the whole school taking part in Swimming Lessons at Ripon Spa Baths
The School has a wish list for FONSS funding, and the target in 2018- 2019 is to raise £6000, thorugh various events. If interested in holding an event, please contact us via the school.
