Class One Learning WC/ 13th May

Sadly not as much sunshine this week in North Stainley, but that didn't stop us from learning and having lots of fun!

From fractions in KS1 maths and making our own pizzas, to Forest schools and finishing off home-made instruments/windchimes;

We watched what happens to a rainbow bath bomb when it is placed into the water tray making predictions beforehand and did lots of different events for sports day practise in PE;

We sang Happy Birthday to B in French which all the children really enjoyed and we have soem amazing writing from Key Stage One using emotions, building up to independent diary writing next week;

EYFS practised being good leaders like the Prophet Muhammad was to the Muslims in RE;  and counting to and from 20 in Maths through lots of play and games!

Incy Wincy spider made a tuff-tray web with a tangle to get through to retrieve the treasures and we got a suprise when our seeds from last week's tuff tray activites sprung over the weekend!

Miss. Hall had a suprise of her own for show and tell (look closely at the celebrities she met on the whiteboard!) and Miss. Watkinson came with some musically inspired Bear Hunt music and 'drawing how we feel' with different musical genres!

Lots of pictures of what we have been up to below, ready for one more week of learning together before Half-Term!
