National Heroes Day 21st October

In Class One on the 21st of October we celebrated National Heroes Day! The children all came in dressed as superheroes to mark the occasion as our topic has been 'I am a Superhero!' this half term! We did lots of work about compassion and real-world heroes such as firefighters, doctors and even mountain rescuers! We had a 'bucket of kindness' and wrote down adjectives to describe these heros before baking 'Compassion Cookies' with magic dust on to make us all super compassionate heroes!
We had a fabulous fun day and Miss.Gregory certianly enjoyed dressing as 'super teacher'!
