Class One Learning WC/ 6th January
First of all I would like to wish you all a very Happy New Year! A new start is always exciting to see what we can achieve as the year goes on! The children have all come back with enthusiasm and wonderful learning attitudes.
Our first week back in Class One has been super busy after settling back in from the Christmas holidays- so busy that we all forgot to take lots of pictures (sorry!)
Reception have done some PSHE with Jigsaw Jenie, started phase 3 phonics, in maths they have been looking for 4 sided shapes, handwriting practise, sharing and teamwork activities and PE with Mr V starting gymnastics!
KS1 have been doing phonics and getting back into AR reading, in maths we have started a new topic- multiplication and division, we have thought about new years resolutions for writing and finished off our Everyday Materials topic in Science, aswell as also being very excited to have gymnastics with Mr V!
The children also enjoyed forest schools this week, making the most of the cold weather making outdoor ice decorations using natural resources scavenged on their wintery walk!
Hopefully next week will see some sunshine, and be back in the routine of taking pictures to share with you all!
Have a lovely, safe weekend!
