Chickenpox

Dear Parents, 

We wish to advise that a case of Chickenpox has been reported in school. 

Please see the following NHS advice about chickenpox:

A person with chickenpox is contagious from when symptoms first appear (1-2 days before the rash appears) until the last blisters have crusted.

Children with chickenpox must stay away from school at least 5 days from the onset of the rash and until all blisters have crusted over.
