Bug Hotel

Dear Parents and Carers,
In
Science, we are learning all about Animals (including Humans) and their habitats. For our
final flourish the children will be designing, making and building a
bug hotel to have in the school garden area!
In order to achieve this, we are asking for a variety of donations to help us:
- Old wooden pallets
- Strips of wood
- Straw
- Moss
- Bricks, preferably those with holes through them
- Dry leaves
- Woodchips
- Old terracotta pots
- Old roofing tiles
- Old logs
- Bark
- Pinecones
- Hollow bamboo canes
- Dead hollow stems cut from shrubs and herbaceous plants
- Roofing felt
- Planks of wood
- Whatever else you can find - preferably natural materials
If any donations could kindly be brought into school by
Friday 3rd February that would be very much appreciated.
