“FONSS would like to say a big thank you to all of the parents, carers, children and supporters who have helped us with the Lightwater Valley 10k this year. It takes a huge effort and simply would not take place without your help.
As well as the core team that have focused on organisation for the past couple of months, we also greatly benefit from the large number of volunteers and marshals on the day.
This year, once again, we received some great feedback from the runners about how supported they feel throughout the day and along the course, specifically mentioning the colourful signs, instruments and cheers of support - all of this helps to ensure the same runners return again and again.
The run is our biggest event of the year and always brings in much needed funds that directly benefit the children at our school.
