Harvest Festival 2024 at St. Mary's Church

04 Oct 2024

Harvest Festival 2024 at St. Mary's Church

Today we celebrated our Harvest Festival at Church with the local community, giving thanks for all the wonders that God provides in order to be able to eat as Harvest comes to an end!

We sang songs of thanks and praise, including a Harvest Samba and a little dance of the Dingle-Dangle Scarecrow, as well as hearing about different harvests around the world. We had blessings and Bible readings as well as saying prayers of gratitude.

Lots of donations and harvest gifts were brought in that will be passed on to the Community Food Bank in Ripon.

We thank all of you who have helped in any way with the service and preperation, especially Reverend Clive Mansell and Jane Mansell. We hope that those of you who were able to join us enjoyed what the children had to offer.
